On May 23rd, 2016, we closed down ecosex.ca for good. It was such an integral part of our mission and business for so long that the decision to close was a very hard one. So why did we shut it down?
The short version is that we outgrew ourselves.
When we first opened ecosex, there was a huge gap in the market for environmentally-friendly, body-safe sexuality products. Nowadays, most customers are conscious consumers, which means that larger companies are responding to their concerns.
This is a wonderful thing!
However, more demand means more competition, and mainstream companies can offer what ecosex offered, but cheaper and faster. We finally realized that we'd played our part in making this market safer and healthier, and we could now turn to our true passion, which is education.

Even though we're no long able to provide you with products that are good for you and for the environment, that doesn't mean we've stopped believing in the importance of being a conscious consumer. Looking for something special?
We may be closing down, but we still strongly believe in each and every product we carried in the store and want to make sure you can continue to access them.
Sexuality Products
Most of the products we sold on ecosex are available from Come As You Are or Good For Her. Both are Toronto-based stores that ship internationally.
Justisse Products
To purchase charting materials, basal body thermometers, or any other Justisse-related products we carried on ecosex, please visit the Justisse website.
Fertility Products
All of the fertility products that were sold on ecosex are available from Fairhaven Health.
Menstrual Products
We encourage you to shop with Lunapads for any specialty menstrual products.
Anything Else
If you're not able to locate a specific product on the websites mentioned above, please send an email to thesisters@redtentsisters.com and we will try our best to locate it for you!
Returns
Unfortunately, beginning May 25th we will no longer have inventory on hand to provide exchanges on defective products. However, not to worry - any items with a warranty can be replaced by contacting the manufacturer directly.
