Motherhood is a life-changing state of being. Your body and hormones are new. Your priorities shift. In the midst of all this change and newness it can be very easy to loose touch with your own sexuality. Help ensure you and your partner don't feel that intimacy has been lost and replaced with bedtime routines, midnight feedings and a milk-stained wardrobe.
In this 2.5-hour workshop, Amy and Kim will talk about how to rekindle your own desire and will share some practical tips for finding time and energy for self-pleasure and partner play.
Topics include:
- The physiology of postpartum sexuality: the facts about why you feel the way you do, and lifestyle changes that can improve your sexual health
- The logistics of getting time alone
- The "don't touch me" syndrome
- Practical tips for talking about sex with your partner and asking him or her for what you need and want
- How to introduce toys, porn, lube and other libido-stoking goodies to the bedroom (if you so desire)
