Lucy Becker is a tantra teacher and founder of Tantra Workshops, a school for Sacred Sexuality. Tantra Workshops courses have been featured in Flare, Elle, Toronto Star, National Post, Sex TV, and have been presented at the University of Toronto Women's Centre and the Learning Annex. "My commitment is to altering the world's relationship to sexuality; from one of shame, guilt, fear and anger, to one of respect, peace, love, and sacredness. Ecstasy is built into humanity. Suffering is optional."

Zahra Haji teaches the Moon-Goddess Yoga Series at Red Tent Sisters. Zahra started meditating at the age of two. She started practicing yoga in her late teens in order to manage the pain of scoliosis and it changed her life. Zahra is now committed to helping women reclaim their innate wisdom and rediscover the knowledge and understanding of the devine feminine. In Zahra's words, "My work is dedicated to all women as we awaken, inspire and uplift each other to a higher level of consciousness." Isomi Henry has worked in social services for the past ten years and has always been interested and involved in women’s issues. Isomi has facilitated numerous groups in the public and private sphere. She is a trained antepartum and labour doula and has a Master’s degree in Adult Education. She has also completed a lacatation management course with Dr. Jack Newman. Isomi believes that childbirth is one of the most formative experiences in a woman’s life. Her aim is to help make that experience as positive and empowering as possible.

Tara McKee is a psychotherapist in training and a sex educator with a persistent passion for sexual education in all forms. She has a special interest in transforming conventional messages and education into sex-positive, body-positive, inclusive messages that provide individuals with an enhanced sense of self. Tara is a recognized G-Spot expert and educator. She is constantly developing workshops in areas where she sees a need, on such topics as positive body awareness, youth and sexuality, female pelvic pain, gynecological alternatives and more. Over the past 6 years, she has taught public and private workshops throughout Ontario, for university groups, television, as well as being consulted as an expert in the realm of female sexuality and safer sex. Through respect and love for her own body, Tara hopes to inspire the same in others.

Briar Munro grew up in the dance studio training in ballet, jazz and tap.  In her teens she discovered hip hop and has spent time studying with various teachers in Toronto, New York and Boston. At the age of eight Briar fell in love with Tae Kwon Do and currently holds her second degree black belt.  Her background in dance and martial arts along with her love of sports has lead her to a career in Personal Training and Pilates instruction. She earned her Diploma in Fitness and Lifestyle Management at George Brown College and became a certified Pilates instructor in the Stott Pilates Method.  Briar has been working in the health and fitness field for 10 years and continues to love it! Briar runs Fly Girl Fitness, a business dedicated to working with women of all ages through health and fitness to feel motivated and confident with themselves.

Amy Sedgwick is a registered Occupational Therapist and co-founder and owner of Red Tent Sisters. She is currently training as a Holistic Reproductive Health Practitioner through Justisse Healthworks for Women and is a practationer of the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Massage. Amy has a private clinical practice teaching women menstrual cycle charting for the purposes of achieving or avoiding conception and for monitoring of overall reproductive health. She also provides massage treatments and education in uterine health and self-care. Amy prides herself on combining the science and physiology of her academic training with a more holistic, spiritual and earth-based approach to healing and transformation.

Celeste Shirley is the founder of The Yoga House studio, a Kinesiologist- Ba.Hon. Kin., Certified Personal Trainer and Yoga teacher, Canadian Professional Trainers Certifying Committee member, Athletic Therapist, and Certified Thai Massage Practitioner. Celeste started studying yoga when "straight-up" exercise stopped making sense to her body. A leader and presenter in the fitness field since 1984, Celeste uses a conscious cross-training approach to working with the body including (ecstatic) dance, pilates, hatha and Ashtanga yoga, and weight training. Her constitution is life affirming: The body knows what to do; there is no one path that guides the way.
