Green Your Birth Control in 30 Days

To my fellow health-minded and environmentally conscious sisters,

Are you...Amy Sedgwick

  • suffering from birth control pill related side effects like low libido, mood disturbances, or unusual bleeding?
  • concerned about the long-term fertility impacts of hormonal birth control?
  • at high risk for breast cancer, hypertension, stroke or depression?
  • concerned about the environmental impacts of hormonal birth control?
  • considering trying to conceive in the next two years?
  • trying to engage in healthy habits (like eating organic food) and feel that taking the pill is incongruent with your natural lifestyle?
  • secretly longing for an approach to birth control that honours your divine feminine rhythms?

If so, I'm so glad you found this page, because...

There is an all natural, side effect free, highly effective form of birth control available to you, and I want you to share it with you!

After over ten years of hormonal birth control use, I had a frightening experience with the pill that left me desperately looking for a natural way to manage my fertility. And what I found changed my life...

The Justisse Method of Fertility Management™ provides a tool that enables women to:

  • manage their fertility with 99.4% efficacy
  • make empowered choices throughout each phase of the reproductive lifecycle
  • support the body's natural rhythms

Not only have my clients and I used the Justisse Method to successfully avoid pregnancy, but we have also experienced the following benefits from using the Justisse Method:

  • identified and eliminated food allergies
  • increased intimacy and sexual satisfaction with partners
  • managed mood swings, painful periods and other menstrual-related symptoms
  • identified and addressed nutritional deficiencies before they turned into serious, long-term health issues

Learning the Justisse Method of Fertility Management™ was so life-changing for me that I became determined to help other women learn the method. I quit my job as a program coordinator at a local hospital and enrolled in a training program to become a Holistic Reproductive Health Practitioner. I have since graduated from Justisse Healthworks for Women and helped hundreds of women convert to natural birth control.

Sarah Green"Amy has helped me to see that a woman’s body is a wonder. Since beginning work with her I have experienced a profound shift in my awareness of my natural rhythms. I now feel as though I really truly know what’s happening in my body and why.

Before working with Amy, I was on the birth control pill and wasn’t feeling good about it. I wanted a natural way to manage my fertility and I felt like something was missing. Then I began studying the Justisse Method with Amy and was able to come off the pill and confidently avoid pregnancy while deepening my relationship with my partner. Earlier in the year we decided to start trying for a family. Now I am 27 weeks pregnant!

Thanks to working with Amy and learning the Justisse Method, we conceived in our very first month of trying. I am confident that I will return to using the method for contraception after I give birth and, if this little being in my belly is a girl, it would bring me great joy to teach her the ways of the Justisse Method one day. After years of helping women make the transition to natural birth control by running live eco-contraception workshops in Toronto, I am responding to a growing worldwide demand for this knowledge by launching a new brand new four-part teleclass!

Introducing...

Green Your Birth Control... in 30 Days!

Woman Holding Plant

In this four-part evening teleclass you will receive the instruction you need to start taking control of your fertility, naturally. Here is just some of what you can expect to learn:

  • confidently pinpoint your exact day of ovulation
  • understand what your cervical mucus is telling you about your fertility
  • know exactly which days of your cycle to avoid intercourse or use barriers
  • be able to quote the exact number of days that a woman is capable of conceiving in any given cycle (the answer will shock you - hint: it's measured in hours!)
  • the science behind sperm survival
  • the role of vaginal ph in fertility
  • how progesterone affects your appetite and what to do about it
  • how to preserve your future fertility
  • how to know when your period is coming, as early as two weeks before it arrives
  • how to stop worrying about accidental pregnancy
  • how to prevent menstrual cramps and excessive bleeding

"But Amy, isn't this like the rhythm method?!"

Glad you asked. No, it isn't. The rhythm method (or similar methods, like the calendar method, standard days method, etc.) are what we call retrospective methods. They use previous cycles to try to predict future cycles. This doesn't work very well (in fact, efficacy rates are down around 70%). The reason being that women's cycles are just not that predictable. Not only will things like stress, illness or travel affect a woman's cycle but many women have cycles much longer or shorter than the standard 28 days that is presumed by popular culture.

The Justisse Method of Fertility Management is a sympto-thermal approach to fertility awareness, which in plain language means that you learn how to track physiologically proven signs of fertility on a day-to-day basis. This gives you an accurate moment-to-moment indication of your fertility status. Armed with this information you can make very informed choices to prevent against pregnancy. It is for this reason that this method works as well as it does, with efficacy rates over 99%.

"It sounds like a lot of work."

Yes and no. It is a commitment, that's true. Learning the method typically takes from one to three months. However, it is kind of like learning how to ride a bike. Once you learn it, it becomes second nature and adds less than five minutes to your day. In exchange you receive not only liberation from pharmaceuticals and consumerism, but you have a skill that will help you to track your long-term fertility, cervical and uterine health, and even help you monitor and manage menopause when you get to that stage in your life. And, if you should ever choose that you WANT to get pregnant, you are likely to achieve it much easier than your peers. Most of my birth control clients who go on to try to conceive end up getting pregnant in their first month of trying.

"My partner is skeptical. What can I tell him to try to get him on board?"

Although this is a generalization, men typically rely on facts and science more than women do when they are making decisions. It will likely help for you to explain that in 2007 a large research study was conducted in Europe that followed the outcome of 900 women who were using a fertility awareness method nearly identical to the Justisse Method. What they found was that the method was 98.4% effective. When they corrected for the fact that a couple of women had made errors in their charts, the method efficacy rose to 99.4%. Contrast this with the fact that condoms have a typical use efficacy rate of only 85% according to the World Health Organization.
