Fertility

As women, our fertility refers to how capable we are of initiating, sustaining, or supporting reproduction. Fertility is not an all or nothing condition; rather, it is a continuum. We all have varying degrees of fertility based on a complex interaction of biological, environmental, pharmacological, psychological and emotional factors. Red Tent Sisters aims to support women in their fertility issues through a variety of programming.

Personal Fertility Awareness Counseling
By appointment
Detailed charting of one's menstrual cycle can be a powerful tool for women to connect with their bodies' rhythms. The Justisse method of fertility awareness is a highly accurate method for identifiying a woman's fertile periods. When performed with proper education, support and follow-up, fertility awareness methods can be an effective form of contraception rivalling or exceeding that of barrier and hormonal forms of contraception. Alternatively, fertility awareness methods can be used as a way of enhancing conception probability for those trying to achieve pregnancy.
