Evra Patch

I was recently sent a link to a Globe and Mail article about two young Canadian women who have died from using the Evra birth control patch. Since it was first introduced in Canada in 2004, Health Canada has received 93 reports of adverse reactions from taking the medication. According to one study, women on the patch are twice as likely to suffer blood clots as those on the Pill, which has led many to wonder whether the product should be available at all.
